I Vitreo sono nati nel 1999 con lo scopo principale di creare musica
senza compromessi e senza voler seguire nessun tipo di stile in particolare.
Il loro stile è cresciuto e maturato negli anni contribuendo a farli diventare energici, particolari ed attenti ai dettagli.
Un lungo e lento processo attraverso molte fasi, molte prove, studiando e creando nuove canzoni che li ha portati a quella che può essere definita ragionevolmente la chiara e più completa espressione del loro essere, sia come musicisti che come persone.
Con PANDA 4 FUN uscito per “UK Division Records” nel dicembre del 2007 hanno cercato di ridefinire il loro personale modo di essere Rock!
Dopo numerosi cambiamenti di formazione hanno raggiunto la loro la loro attuale line-up: un bilanciato power trio che unisce l’immediatezza dei contenuti e la possibilità di utilizzare le caratteristiche vocali dei componenti.
Dopo l’ultima data nel 2010 ed essersi presi qualche anno di pausa dalle scene si ripresentano nel 2017 con un nuovo batterista, che potrà contribuire anche cantando ed utilizzando synth e tastiere ad arricchire e rinnovare le proposte della band.
Nell’ultimo periodo si sono completamente dedicati alla composizione di nuovi brani che ben presto costituiranno un album con atmosfere più saltellanti mantenendo l’energia che li contraddistingue.
Negli anni hanno suonato in moltissimi club e festival condividendo il palco con band come FISHBONE, THERAPY?, ONE MINUTE SILENCE, PUNKREAS, SHANDON, RITMO TRIBALE, LINEA 77, PINO SCOTTO, DIAFRAMMA, PERSIANA JONES, S.N.P., ZONA e molti altri…
Vitreo was born in 1999 with the main purpose of creating music without any compromise and without following any kind of model. Their style has been growing and maturing throughout the years, and their sound has become strong, sharp and peculiar.
A slow process which took them through many phases, and reharsing, studying and creating, they have reached what could reasonably be defined as the clear and most complete expression of their being, both as musicians and as men.
Their sound brings evident and undeniable relations to bands like FAITH NO MORE, THERAPY?, FISHBONE, NO MEANS NO but also SYSTEM OF A DOWN e QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE without getting cheesy (hopefully), they managed to create and keep their own identity.
With PANDA 4 FUN, first full length album, VitreO are about to redefine their own way to be rock. (of being rock non è meglio?)
VitreO has gone through so many changes, mosto f all regarding singers, which brought them to the final line-up. VitreO has chosen a more immediate and compact solution: an organic, well balanced power trio, developing and joining at best the characteristics of both the single players and the whole band.
They had their last live show in 2010 and after few years hiatus, they’re finally back in 2017 with a new drummer, an extremely good musician, who surely will contibute and improve the whole band quality.
